What is Equine Touch?
Equine Touch is a form of bodywork for the horse following a set system of moves working holistically over the whole horse. It is a non-invasive and non-diagnostic form of bodywork using vibrational light moves from fingers and thumbs over soft tissue such as the fascia and muscles. The moves aim to help the release of tension through the soft tissue, often putting the horse into a parasympathetic state of relaxation. This means it can potentially help them mentally, physically and emotionally.
Equine Touch can be used to help horses with problems such as suppleness and balance, symmetry, prepare for competition, help muscles after veterinary or dental procedures or hoof care as well as box rest. It promotes relaxation and can improve the bond between the horse and owner.

What I offer
If you would like your horse to experience the pleasure of Equine Touch, please contact me for a bodywork session. I will come to the yard to see your horse, take a detailed history to include health care issues or treatments, hoof care, dental care, saddler (if applicable). I may ask to see your horse tacked up depending on any problems you may be having or findings during the session. You will need to have the permission of your horse's vet before I can visit, I am always happy to discuss Equine Touch with vets and happy to share any findings from my sessions.
After the session you will receive a full report of what was done during the session and any advice given along with an invoice for the session.
