FAQ
What horses benefit from Equine Touch?
All horses can benefit from Equine Touch, whether they have a specific problem or not. Most horses enjoy the bodywork and benefit from it.
Do I need to inform my vet?
Yes. You will need permission from your vet to allow me to work with your horse. If your vet is unsure what Equine Touch is, please pass on my contact details and I am happy to speak to them myself.
What if I am not satisfied with FS Equine Touch?
If you are not happy with the service you receive from FS Equine Touch, please get in contact through our Contact Us page to explain what you are unhappy about. We will look into the problem and contact you to discuss a resolution within 7 days of receiving your complaint.
Are there any horses you can't work on?
If a vet refuses permission for me to work with a horse, then I will not be able to work with that horse. Otherwise, there aren't any horses I can't work with but there are some limitations.
I can't work over specific injury sites or areas that have recently been injected, but I can work with the rest of the horse.
Can you work on pregnant mares?
Yes, I can work with pregnant mares. There are some moves I cannot perform on a pregnant mare, but most moves will be fine.
What are your payment terms?
Payment is to be either, cash on the day of the visit or BACS transfer to be paid within 7 days. An invoice will be sent after every session detailing amount owed.
